What it is
L-Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid and the primary raw material the body uses to produce nitric oxide (NO), a signaling molecule central to vascular health.
How it works
An enzyme called eNOS converts L-Arginine into nitric oxide inside the cells lining blood vessels. Nitric oxide then tells the surrounding smooth muscle to relax, widening the vessel and easing the path for oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood to reach active tissue — including the brain.
Why MemoClear pairs it with other forms
Free arginine is metabolized relatively quickly, which is why MemoClear also includes L-Arginine AKG and two forms of citrulline — to extend and sustain the nitric-oxide effect rather than relying on a single short-lived source.
Safety notes
Because arginine affects blood vessel relaxation, anyone taking blood pressure medication, nitrates, or other vasodilating drugs should talk to a doctor before adding a supplemental source. Not recommended during pregnancy or nursing without medical guidance.
